1980's Vostok(East) Komandirskie (Vostok Commander) genuine Soviet Union military wristwatch.  18 jewels cal.2234 hand wind movement with hack/stop seconds. Running well and keeping good time.

The red star and "3AKA3 MO CCCP" at the bottom of the dial under the 6 translates as "By Order of The Ministry of Defence USSR". Such watches were directly issued or sold exclusively through `Voentorg` (Military Supplies) stores to military personnel with a valid military I.D. and not made available to the public.

In excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition having a very smart blue dial and fitted with a new blue leather strap.
